This is not a stamped texture, but a deliberate artisanal transformation rooted in our three-generation family expertise. Our intention is clear: to elevate an everyday essential into a tactile object of design—one that carries not only what you need, but also a distinct visual language.
How the Crinkled Effect is Created
The process begins with premium, ultra-soft lambskin, selected for its natural elasticity and refined grain. The leather is then barrel-dyed, allowing the pigment to penetrate deeply into the fibers, creating a rich, dimensional black with subtle iridescent reflections.
Once dyed, the material undergoes a careful hand-crumpling process. This gesture—controlled yet inherently organic—breaks the uniformity of the surface, generating a dynamic texture that captures and reflects light in constantly shifting ways.
The result is a three-dimensional finish, reminiscent of worn architectural surfaces or naturally aged materials.
